Annapurna Base Camp trek is one of the most famous  in Nepal. It is quite easy and shorter trek than other high altitude treks in Nepal. This trek incorporates diverse terrain, culture, and wildlife. Along with the most spectacular and close up view of Annapurna range, Machhapuchhre, Hiunchuli, and Dhaulagiri. At 4130 m, Annapurna Base Camp offer spectacular views of a range of majestic mountains.

Annapurna I (8091 m), Annapurna South (7219 m), Machapuchhre (6993 m) and Hiunchuli (6441 m) offers a magical setting for oneself to remain pristine away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

The route itself to the destination fulfills and satisfies you by providing an interaction with nature’s wide variety of offerings, from forests, waterfalls, small mountain ranges. This relatively short trek offers a wonderful mix of flavors of nature and culture to those who want a multitude of experiences but do not have much time to spare.

Arrival in Kathmandu and Overnight in Hotel

Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu. Meet and traditional welcome by our representative and stay overnight in a Hotel, introduction with guide, and collection of photographs and passport for arrangement of trekking permits.

Flight to Pokhara, drive to Nayapul and trek to Ghandruk (1,940m)

Morning Flight to Pokhara, drive to Nayapul and Trek to Ghandruk. Through the outward trekking trail which will take you along the most beautiful western side of the valley. In this trail, nature will offer you a beautiful Rhododendron forests to enjoy, and while you move along ,you will pass through many small, welcoming villages; where you can stop by for a cup of tea chat with the villagers. You would love to take pictures of an amazing suspension bridge you most surely have never seen before as you reach near Ghandruk. You would only ask for more as you ascend the valley and the views of stupendous Madi, Machhapuchhre and Annapurna, gets more and more beautiful. The day will finish at Ghandruk with a soothing sunset over the Annapurna range.

Ghandruk to Sinuwa (2,360)

Breakfast and begin a trek uphill and downhill to Sinuwa. In the 6 to 7 hours long journey, your eyes will be happy to see through the greenery as you pass through beautiful rivers and jungles. To add to the excitement of the journey, Annapurna and Fishtail mountains will peek-a-boo every now and then. You will find it heartwarming to wave to people from small villages on the way.

Sinuwa to Deurali (2,230m)

Breakfast and begin the trek through beautiful forest of bamboo, rhododendron and oak forest with the whelming view of waterfalls, and pious glimpse of temples and caves. You won’t even realize how fast 6 hours got passed.

Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m)

Above Deurali, is little challenging, as there is a place that has been warned of Avalanche, but do not worry, a continuous and cautious trek will take you to a safer place. Risk is worth taking as you can see a view that is breathtaking. As you trek further; the beautiful white mountains come close and closer to you.

After Machhapuchhre base camp, from where you can see the magnificent Machhapuchre. History has it that Machhapuchre hasn’t been climbed yet because the first group of climbers who went for expedition decided that if they would climb up, they would not get to see the breathtaking view that could be seen from below. Leaving behind Machhapuchre base camp you will take a trail towards ABC, which is a pleasant trail though the air is little thin. You may start feeling Altitude from here. But walking slowly and gently will do the trick, unless serious. You will reach a point from where you will not want to come back- a tremendously beautiful 360 degrees view of mountains, nowhere in the world! Views of giant Annapurna I 8091m, Annapurna South 7219m, Machhapuchhre (Mt. Fishtail) 6997m and several other wonderful peaks will take your experience to a new Height!

Annapurna Base Camp and descend back to Sinuwa (2,360m) (1,700m)

Not to miss the beautiful sparkling scene that is created when the first rays of sun reflects through the icy mountains, an early morning trek is started. As you move upwards, you will start to notice that the vegetation slowly disappears and the snow whitish and icy view offers you a visual treat.

You are in the heart of the Annapurna Sanctuary- the glacier valley and very near to the ultimate destination. The range of Annapurna mountains named singly as Annapurna South (7,219m) to Annapurna I (8,091m). You would get tired of taking pictures but will not want to give up!

Take your time, take your energy to immerse yourself to the scenery and capture them in your heart and minds. After some time, eventually you will descend down to the glacier valley to return back and end the day at the village of Sinuwa and share with each other how incredible your day was.

Sinuwa – Phedi – Pokhara Overnight in Hotel (900m)

After Breakfast in the morning, you will leave Sinuwa, this time you will pass through forests and beautifully made terraced farmlands, as you also give brief visits to the villages of Pitam Deurali, Pothana and skirt village of village Dhampus. You will descend steeply to the valley floor to the village of Phedi, from where you will ride back to Pokhara.

Pokhara-Kathmandu Flight and Free day in Kathmandu

After breakfast in the morning wave goodbye to Pokhara and fly back to  Kathmandu.

In the afternoon free day of your own. Overnight at Hotel.

Final Departure

Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast at Hotel. We will meet you at your hotel and take you to the airport for onward destination with sweet memories of Nepal. We will drop you to Kathmandu Airport, 3 hours before your flight time.
