Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Katmandu

Upon Arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport, You will be met and greeted with a traditional welcome by TravHill representatives and be transferred to your hotel in Kathmandu. Welcome drink followed by orientation along with the necessary documentation will be carried out by your guide. Evening is free to explore as own. Overnight stay at your hotel.

Sightseeing in Kathmandu

After breakfast your tour around Kathmandu will commence where you will be accompanied by a guide of your lingual preference. The tour will include a visit to the following places:
  • Boudhhanath: A major Buddhist stupa located at the north eastern outskirts of Kathmandu.
  • Pashupatinath: The most revered temple by Hindus in Nepal, the temple carries a significance of mystical proportions and is a site to many important life events of Hindus.
  • Kathmandu Durbar Square: Durbar Square or the Palace Square is ancient courtyard the then Malla Kings of Kathmandu Valley which is abundant is breathtaking architecture.

Drive from Kathmandu-Arughat-Soti Khola

After breakfast, we will drive from Kathmandu to Arughat along the banks of Budi Gandaki. From Arught the road descend to a high cascading waterfall named Kyorpani as we head towards Soti Khola.

Soti Khola- Machha Khola Trek

The trek today involves lots of ascent and descent as we head towards Machha Khola. We will finally end up at a Gurung Village of Lapube.

Machha Khola -Jagat Trek

After breakfast, we will head towards Jagat where the trail offers wonderful view of the Sringi Mountain. After a brief stopover at Kani Gaon, we will pass through Kholabesi to eventually reach Jagat that has natural hot springs which you can enjoy to unwind yourself.

Jagat-Nyak Phedi Trek

From Jagat, we will head towards Nyak Phedi through some winding and up and down terrains. Overnight stay at Tadapani.

Nyak Phedi- Namrung Trek

On this day we will travel from Nyak Phedi to Manrung where along the way we will pass through Gata Khola and Shar Khola and initially stop over at Deng. There on, we will pass through forest to reach near the Tibetan border to finally reach Namrung.

Namrung- Lho Trek

On this day, we will travel Through beautiful fir, rhododendron and oak forests as we head towards Lho. The trail also rewards with wonderful sights of the Manaslu north and naike peak.

Lho- Sama Gaon Trek

On this day we head towards Sama Gaon passing through idyllic villages of Bengsam, Li and Khani. The route offers picturesque mountainous views. Upon reaching Sama Gaon you may also pay a visit to t a gompa situated in the village.

Rest day at Sama Gaon

We will spend the day acclimatizing with the local conditions and preparing for the day ahead. You may also pay a visit to the Pung-gyen gompa.

Sama Gaon- Samdo Trek

On this day, we head towards Samdo passing through the Manaslu Glacier and the Manaslu Base Camp. Upon searching Samdo, you will find that the village houses a well established Tibetan refugee camp.

Samdo- Dharmasala Trek

On this day, we pass through Larke pass the ascend through juniper and tundra forests with a vantage point overlooking the Larkya La glacier.

Dharmasala- Larke Pass- Bhimathang Trek

We start out early for today’s strenuous trek We will initially make a long ascent and the descend to reach the head of the moraine and then climb the top of the ridge to reach Larke La Pass. After a small descent then on passing through beautiful yak pastures we reach our destination at Bhimathang.

Bhimathang- Tilche Trek

We trek through much easier terrain today as we head towards Tilje passing through pine and rhododendron forests. We will stopover at the village of Gho for lunch and then head towards the beautiful Gurung settlement of Tilje famous for its apple brandy.

Tilche- Chymcha Trek and drive to Besisahar

On this day, we initially trek to Dharapani where you can find the confluence of Dhud Khola and Marsyandi river. From Dharapani, we will drive to Besisahar.

Drive to Kathmandu

The drive to Kathmandu from Chymcha should take around 6-7 hours. Overnight stay at Kathmandu.

Final Departure

After Breakfast – free time till departure –  A representative from TravHill Dot Com will transfer to Airport for onward destination with sweet memories of Nepal. We will drop you to Kathmandu Airport 3 hours before your flight time.
