Kathmandu Airport Arrival

 Upon Arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport, You will be met and greeted with a traditional welcome by TravHill representatives and be transferred to your hotel in Kathmandu. Welcome drink followed by tour briefing. Evening is free to explore as own.

Kathmandu Sightseeing

After breakfast, accompanied by a guide of your lingual preference. The tour will include the following cultural heritage sites designated by UNESCO.
  • Bouddhanath: A major Buddhist Stupa located at the north eastern outskirts of Kathmandu.
  • Pashupatinath: The most revered temple by Hindus in Nepal, the temple carries a significance of mystical proportions and is a site to many important life events of Hindus.
  • Swayambhunath: Sitting atop a hill, it is the most prominent Buddhist pilgrimage site in Nepal and is also one of many sites of Nepal included in World’s Heritage List.
  • Kathmandu Durbar Square: Durbar Square or the Palace Square is ancient coutyard of the Malla Kings of Kathmandu Valley which is a breathtaking architecture.

Visit Manakamana

Drive to Kurintar and visit Manakamana Temple by Cable Car. Overnight over there.

Drive to Lumbini

Drive to Lumbini from Kurintar which takes around 6 hours. Lumbini is the birthplace of Lord Buddha. In reaching there, there, you can visit Ashoka Pillar and the Maya Devi Temple.

Sightseeing at Lumbini

After breakfast, you will visit the different monasteries which have a greater value in culture such as Royal Thai Monastery, Myanmar Golden Monastery, German Monastery, Linh Son Monastery, Chinese Monastery etc. Different art and culture is being reflected in each monasteries.

After having our lunch, we will visit the museum of Lumbini. Lumbini Museum on the northern end of the premise is dedicated to the life of Gautam Buddha, the houses, the photos and artifacts from Buddhist sites all over the world. Overnight at Lumbini.

Sightseeing Tour

In this day, early in the morning, we will drive to the World Peace Pagoda. It is an impressive gleaming white World Peace Pagoda being constructed by Japanese Buddhists. A walk around the Stupa gives you panoramic view of Lumbini. The golden Buddha statue depicts the posture Gautama Buddha took when he was born.

We return back to hotel and have a lunch and again tour around remaining pilgrimage sites like Chinese Temple, Dharma swami Maharaja Buddha Vihar, Drubgyud Chöling Gompa, Korean Buddhist Temple, etc. Evening time you can indulge on your own activity.

Drive to Pokhara

This day, we will drive to Pokhara from Kapilvastu which takes around 8 hours. Pokhara is a city of natural wonders, the serenity of lakes and the magnificence of mountains.

Sightseeing around Pokhara

This day, early in the morning, we will drive to Sarangkot to view the beautiful sunrise and majestic Himalayas. After an hour, we will get back to hotel, have some rest and continue our tour. We will go around Phewa Lake for boating, Bindabasini Temple, Mahendra Cave, Seti Gandaki Gorge, Peace Stupa, Tal Barahi Temple, Devi’s Fall, etc.

Drive back to Kathmandu

The next day, we will drive back to Kathmandu (6 hours). In the evening, you can go out for a shopping or you can just relax in your hotel room. Overnight at Hotel.

Final Departure

 After Breakfast – free time till departure –  A representative from TravHill Dot Com will transfer to Airport for onward destination with sweet memories of Nepal. We will drop you to Kathmandu Airport 3 hours before your flight time.
