Kathmandu Airport Arrival (1345 meters)

Upon Arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport, You will be met and greeted with a traditional welcome by TravHill representatives and be transferred to your hotel in Kathmandu. Welcome drink followed by orientation along with the necessary documentation will be carried out by your guide. Evening is free to explore as own. Overnight stay at your hotel.

Pre-trip meeting and Kathmandu Sightseeing

We have breakfast at the hotel in the early morning around 7 am. Then, we will meet shortly for elaborating for Kathmandu sightseeing. You will have a private vehicle and an expert guide who takes you to visit Kathmandu city. You will visit three UNESCO listed World Heritage Sites, i.e. Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, and Bhaktapur Durbar Square.

Our trip starts from the Boudhanath Stupa, one of the biggest Buddhist places of worship on the earth, where we watch Buddhist priests imploring in the monasteries near by the stupa.

Our next destination is Pashupatinath Temple; One of the major holy Hindu temples in Nepal, situated on the banks of the holy Bagmati River. One can see Hindu holy men (sadhus) meditating and showering there. There is cremation area near by temples on the banks of the Bagmati.

Then, we will head towards Bhaktapur Durbar Square – an ancient palace & museum rich for its historic arts and architecture. Transfer to Hotel & Overnight at Kathmandu.

Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (820m)

We will be picked up from the Hotel at 8am & we will drive to the beautiful Lake City- Pokhara, which is 6-7 hours drive from Kathmandu. Upon Arrival at Pokhara, you will be transferred to Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Fly to Jomsom (2,700m), and ride to Kagbeni (2,900m)

Have Breakfast. We will fly Jomsom early morning from Pokhara. We will board all of our bikes and the biking equipment along. Upon Arrival at Jomsom, we will gear our bikes and slowly steadily ride through the bank of Kaligandaki and drive to our final stop of a day at Kagbeni [3-4 hours drive]. Kagbeni is a hidden valley in Mustang. Have Dinner & Overnight at Hotel.

Ride from Kagbeni to Muktinath (3,800m)

After an early morning breakfast at a hotel, we travel up to the hill, gaining almost 1,000m in height, as we head towards Muktinath. This is the most elevated point of this trip. You will see a landscape and dry-desert area there. You may meet a modest bunch of trekkers and explorers, most of them are from India, and they are on the way to the holy Hindu temple Muktinath. You will be peaceful and relax after seeing the marvelous scenery.

Coming to the culturally and religiously site with astonishing mountain views is quite an accomplishment after spending more energy during the trip.  Our overnight will be at a Hotel in Muktinath.

Ride from Muktinath to Marpha (2,670m)

Today, we will ride towards Marpha Village; a famous tourist destination on the way to Muktinath Temple. We will enjoy breathtaking views of the Dhaulagiri and a few other 8,000m peaks on our site we start to explore. In transit, we pass yak (Mountain Cow) groups and experience the ancient way of living of the neighborhood. We ride via Lupra where dark enchantment and human penances are a piece of the group ceremonies.

We will take as rest until tomorrow in Marpha – a friendly group known for its apple plantations. The flagstone-lined town of Marpha is well known for apple cultivating. Keep in mind to try some local wine and brandy including Marphali- local wine made by Marpha’s apple. We will stay overnight at a guesthouse.

Ride from Marpha to Tatopani (1,190m)

Next day after an early morning breakfast at Marpha, we will start our journey towards Tato Pani – also called Hot Water in a local language. Toward the end of the ride, you can pamper yourself in the natural hot spring, which is found beside than the Kali Gandaki River.

From there, you will have the time and space to release up your muscles and chill to the natural sound of the wilderness. We will stay overnight at a hotel.

Sarangkot to Pokhara (830m)

After spending one night at Tatopani, we will ride towards Sarangkot- one of the beautiful places in Pokhara from where one can see astonishing sunrise reflecting at Annapurna & other Himalayan ranges in the early morning.

On the way to Sarangkot from Tatopani, we will pass Beni following the Kali Gandaki River, before moving to the Pokhara-Baglung Highway. We follow the highway up to Nau Danda and afterward take the dirt street to Sarangkot. The best place in Pokhara to enjoy the views of the Himalayas alongside the dawn and nightfall. Overnight at a hotel in Pokhara.

Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu (1,345m)

Following day, we will return to Kathmandu through tourist bus. A charming walk and a very late shopping binge in Thamel and Basantapur in Kathmandu.

We host a farewell dinner in an ordinary Nepali-style restaurant with cultural shows (dancing and singing with ensembles) tonight to celebrate our hard work and accomplishment in the mountain biking trip.

You have the choice to extend your tour to continue onto Chitwan Jungle safari, boating, rafting and bungee, Kathmandu Valley shopping visit, Mountain flight, and different exercises. Overnight at a hotel.

Departure from Nepal

After Breakfast – free time till departure –  A representative from TravHill Dot Com will transfer to Airport for onward destination with sweet memories of Nepal. We will drop you to Kathmandu Airport 3 hours before your flight time.
