It lies on the edge of the Annapurna region and flows through spectacular scenery. With its gentle gradient and straightforward rapids this river is ideal for.If you are a beginner paddler or seeking a nice gentle warm up to Himalayan whitewater, then the Lower Seti River is a beautiful place to start.

Arrive at Kathmandu

Meet at the Travhill office in Thamel and drive to the Pokhara (6 hours drive). Spend some hours on the lake in Pokhara learning Kayak man oeuvres. And overnight at hotel.

Drive to Damauli

Breakfast and drive to the put-in point at Damauli (2 hours). Practice kayak man oeuvres in flowing water and float down to Keraghari where we make camp.

Whole day Kayaking

Start kayaking at 9.30am. Kayaking whole day with a chance to test out our new-found skills on some baby rapids. And camp at Sarangkot.

Kayaking and return to Kathmandu

After lunch start kayaking at 9am. Kayaking for three hours. On this day we will encounter one of the biggest rapids on the Seti—the class III ‘CoffeePot’- which provides us with an opportunity to put our learning into practice. Take out at Ghaighat and return to Kathmandu (5 hours drive).
