Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu

After breakfast your tour around Kathmandu will commence where you will be accompanied by a guide of your lingual preference. The tour will include a visit to the following places:

  • Pashupatinath: The most revered temple by Hindus in Nepal, the temple carries a significance of mystical proportions and is a site to many important life events of Hindus.
  • Kathmandu Durbar Square: Durbar Square or the Palace Square is ancient courtyard the then Malla Kings of Kathmandu Valley which is abundant is breathtaking architecture.

Travel from Kathmandu to Pokhara

Lying 200km west of Kathmandu, Pokhara, also known as the lake city is one of the major tourist destinations of Nepal. You can ether drive or fly to Pokhara, where the duration by road normally takes 6-8 hours. Pokhara is also home to the Machhapuchre(fishtail) mountain which is located nearby the Annapurna mountain range.

Drive from Pokhara to Phedi and Trek to Pothana

After a drive to Phedi from Pokhara, we will commence our trek in earnest with an ascent to Pothana. In the first part of the trek you will travel through forests rich in birds and wildlife and you will also be able to witness the beauty of the Annapurna range, Lamjung, and Mt Manaslu. Upon reaching a beautiful village of Dhampus, where we will stop over for lunch, we will then continue to make an uphill climb towards Pothana which will reward you some breathtaking afternoon scenery.

Pothana-Ghandruk Trek

Today we will trek from Pothana to Ghandruk which should take roughly 6 hours, where alsong the way we will pass through the Modi Khola valley. We will also pass through some pretty terrace farms. Upon reaching Ghandruk, you will be able to behold nature at its best with some spectacular sights of Mount Annapurna III, Mt Machhapuchre, Annapurna South and many more.

Ghandruk- Ghorepani Trek

A winding trek in its literal sense awaits you today as you travel through various twists and turns to reach Ghorepani which should take around 5 hours. Ghorepani is a busy little village with its own charm. Make sure you get ample rest to prepare for a big day tomorrow.

Ghorepani-Poon Hill-Tatopani Trek

Today’s trek is fraught with some remarkable scenery. You will leave Ghorepani at the crack of dawn and ascend towards Poon Hill which lies towards the south-west and looks over Ghorepani. Catch the early morning sunrise from Poon Hill along with sun-kissed views of the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri Machhapuchre among others. Once the sunrise spectacle is over, we will descend towards Tatopani.

Tatopani-Ghasa Trek

An easy day’s trek ahead where we will travel along the gentle slope of the Kali Gandaki river. The trek to Ghasa should take around 5 hours which the trail ending in the Kali Gandaki Gorge, the deepest in the world. You will discern some distinct Tibetan influence as we ascend our trail.

Ghasa-Marpha Trek

The trend of easy trek continues as we travel from Ghasa to the apple rich area of Marpha. If the season permits, you might be interested in trying out the delicious apples of the area. Likewise, a visit to a monastery nearby should also be tempting.

Marpha-Jomsom-Kagbeni Trek

On this day, we will make an easy trek from Marpha to Jomsom initially. Jomson, the windy city of Nepal, is abundant in some awe-inspiring natural beauty. Then on we will travel further north towards the beautiful Kagbeni.

Kagbeni-Muktinath Trek

On this day, we will travel to one of the holiest sites in Nepal, the Muktinath Temple. The trek today will not be as easy as we gain significant altitude so utmost precaution has to be taken to prevent any signs of altitude sickness. The temple holds profound significance for both Hindus and Buddhists. You may also be tempted to purify your senses with a walk though the 108 water fountains of the temple.

Muktinath-Jomsom Trek

Today we will be making a descent of about 6 hours to head towards Jomsom.

Jomsom-Pokhara Flight

On this day ,we will catch an early morning flight from Jomsom to Pokhara. You will have the rest of the day to yourself to explore the beautiful lake city of Pokhara.

Pokhara to Kathmandu

After breakfast you travel to Kathmandu from Pokhara either by bus or flight.

You will have the entire day to yourself to indulge in activities of your preference; perhaps collecting some souvenirs to take a small part of Nepal back home might entice you.

Final Departure

You will be taken from your hotel to the airport as per your schedule. You will reach the airport 2 hours prior to your flight.
