Mustang district has two divisions; lower and upper. Both are naturally beautiful and have own specialties which attract visitors and tourist. Mustang lies between Tibetan Plateau on the Chinese side and Manag and Dolpa on Nepalese side.
Mustang has several historical and religious places like Muktinath and Damodar Kunda. Muktinath means ‘Lord of Salvation.’ Muktinath is the holy places for both Buddhists and Hindus. One can see Hindu Sadhu as well as Tibetan traders there.
Upper Mustang is more adventurous and beautiful places than lower Mustang. The bike riding in this area can be full of thrill and adventure. The Upper Mustang biking tour is designed for those who want to enjoy biking and explore breathtaking views of Himalaya.
The trip will take you from Kathmandu to Pokhara, then Muktinath in Jomsom. The routes follow Chele, Charang, Lo-manthang, Kagbeni and other villages.

Kathmandu Airport Arrival (1345 meters)
Pre-trip meeting and Kathmandu Sightseeing
We have breakfast at the hotel in the early morning around 8 am. Then, we will brief shortly about the Kathmandu sightseeing.
We will provide you a private vehicle and an expert guide who will take you to visit Kathmandu city. You will visit three UNESCO listed World Heritage Sites, i.e., Pashupatinath Temples, Boudhanath and Swayambhunath Stupas.
Firstly, we go to the Boudhanath Stupa, one of the biggest Buddhist places of worship on the earth, where we watch Buddhist priests imploring in the monasteries nearby the stupa.
Then, we will visit Pashupatinath Temple; one of the most renowned holy places for all Hindus. The temple lies on the banks of Bagmati River where you can see holy men (sadhus) bathing and meditating. There is cremation area on the banks of the Bagmati River.
Our next destination is Swayambhunath; a major Buddhist Stupa of Nepal. It is also called ‘The Monkey Temple,’ lies on the western side from Thamel. One can see the magnificent view of Kathmandu City from there.
We’ll return to the hotel for lunch in the afternoon and then you will have a free time to exploration Kathmandu further.
Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (820m)
After an early morning breakfast at Hotel, we will head towards Pokhara from Kathmandu via Luxurious tourist bus. Pokhara is 200 kilometers far west from Kathmandu, and we will move there around 6-7 hrs. We will stay overnight at Hotel.
Pokhara is the beautiful valley set on the banks of the Phewa Lake. It is also known for its all magnificent views of Annapurna, Machapuchare (state of fish tail) in the north – Dhaulagiri in the west, Lamjung Himal and Manaslu in the east.
Fly to Jomsom (2,700m), amass the bikes, and ride to Kagbeni (2,900m)
Today, we will take a morning flight to Jomsom from Pokhara. After reaching Jomsom, we will begin ride towards Kagbeni, which lies at 2,810 meters’ height. Overnight at Hotel.
Ride from Kagbeni to Muktinath (3,800m)
Today after an early morning breakfast at Kagbeni, we head towards Muktinath (approx 2,760 m). The scenery is arid and desert-like. You may meet other trekkers and travelers on the way. Most of them are coming from India, on their way to the holy temple with the eternal vibes in Muktinath that consumes from a natural gas source.
Coming to the socially and religiously site with astounding mountain views is quite an achievement for those who reach there. We will stay overnight at hotel.

Today, we ride from Chele to Syangboche (approx 3,840 m) on the off-road biking trails that will offer magnificent views. We will stay overnight at Tented Camp at Syangboche.
Ride from Syangboche to Charang
Ride from Charang to Lo-Manthang
Today, we ride from Charang to Lo-Manthang. Lo-Manthang that lies at 3,810 meters’ height.It used to be the capital of ancient Mustang Kingdom. The place is a culturally rich as well as great historical significance. We will stay overnight at Tented Camp.

Today, we have the longest ride of the whole trip. We’ll ride around 74 kilometers, from Kagbeni to Tatopani.Tatopani lies over 1,190 meters from ocean level where you can pamper yourself in the natural hot spring. Overnight at Guesthouse in Tatopani.
Ride from Tatopani to Beni and Drive to Pokhara
Next day, we will ride from Tatopani to Beni around 18 km via easy trail. Then, we will head towards Pokhara via bus. We will be sightseeing in Pokhara City and staying overnight at Hotel.
Pokhara Sightseeing via bike or private vehicle
Today, we’ll visit Phewa Lake, Davis Fall, and Mahendra Cave. Then, explore the city area of Pokhara like Chipledhunga, Newroad, KI Singh Bridge, Lakeside area and so on. We’ll stay overnight at Hotel.
Pokhara to Kathmandu drive
After an early morning breakfast, we’ll drive back to Kathmandu. We’ll have a farewell dinner at Nepalese restaurant with a social program. Overnight at Kathmandu Hotel.
