Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Katmandu

 You will be met and greeted with a traditional welcome by our representatives and be transferred to your hotel.A brief orientation along with the necessary documentation will be carried out by your guide.Overnight stay at your hotel.

Sightseeing in Kathmandu.

 After breakfast your tour around Kathmandu will commence where you will be accompanied by a guide of your lingual preference. The tour will include a visit to the following places:
  • Boudhanath: A major Buddhist stupa located at the north eastern outskirts of Kathmandu.
  • Swyambbunath: Sitting atop a hill, it is the most prominent Buddhist pilgrimage site in Nepal and is one of many sites of Nepal included in UNESCO’s World Heritage List.
  • Pashupatinath: The most revered temple by Hindus in Nepal, the temple carries a significance of mystical proportions and is a site to many important life events of Hindus.
  • Kathmandu Durbar Square: Durbar Square or the Palace Square is ancient courtyard the then Malla Kings of Kathmandu Valley which is abundant is breathtaking architecture.

Kathmandu-Arughat Drive & Trek to Arkhet

On this day, we will initially drive for about7-8 hours to Arughat Bazar in Gorkha district. Then on we will trek for about 2 hours to reach Arkhet bazaar where along the way we will pass through some beautiful Gurung and Magar villages.

Arkhet Bazar- Machha Khola Trek

 The trek today involves lots of ascent and descent as we head towards Machha Khola.

Machha Khola-Yaru Khola Trek

 

From Machha Khola we will trek to Yaru Khola along the Budi Gandaki river which offers some spectacular sights to behold.

Yaru Khola-Lopka Trek.

On this day, we will trek to Lopka village which serves as an entrance to the Tsum Valley.

Lopka-Chumling Trek.

After breakfast, we will head towards Chumling where along the way you will be rewarded with picturesque sights of the Ganesh Himal and Baudha Himal. At Chumling, you will also find three monasteries which you may want to visit.

Chumling-Chhokangparo Trek

 

From Chumling we will trek to Chhokangparo where at the destination you will be warmly welcomed with some servings of much need hot tea.

Chhokangparo -Nile/Chhule & Visit Milarepa Piren Phu Cave

Initially we will trek towards Nile/Chulle which is the last village heading north in the upper Tsum Valley. On the way we will also pass through the enchanting Piren Phu Cave or the Pigeon Cave. The cave also has two separate caves attached to it.

Nile/Chhule -Mu Gompa Trek & visit Dhephyudonma Gompa.

 On this day we will pay a visit to the Dephyudonma Gompa, one of the oldest in the valley, which is 2 hours walk away. The monastery holds some historical significance as it is believed that it is associated with the commencement of Buddhism in the valley.

Mu Gompa -Rachen Gompa Trek & visit Gonhgye Gompa Trek

The trail ascends to Mu Gumba, the largest monastery in the region. Mu Gumba is located at the highest and farthest point in the Tsum Valley.

Rachen Gompa-Dumje Trek

 On this day we trek to a small but beautiful village of Dunje which should provide a relaxing experience.

Dumje-Philim Trek

 

On this day we will trek to Philim where along the way we will witness a mesmerizing waterfall in Lower Tsum Valley. Our destination at Phillim is a Gurung village which should provide a unique cultural experience to all visitors.

Philim-Tatopani Trek

 From Philim we will trek to Tatopani where you can unwind yourself in the natural hot springs.

Tatopani-Lapubesi Trek.

 From Tatopani we head to the Gurung village of Lapubesi.

Lapubesi-Arughat Trek

 

We head to the last stretch of our trek as we head towards Arughat.

Drive to Kathmandu.

 The drive to Kathmandu should take around 6-7 hours.

Free day in Kathmandu.

You will have the day to yourself to indulge in activities of your preference; perhaps collecting some souvenirs to take a small part of Nepal back home might entice you.

Final Departure

You will be taken from your hotel to the airport as per your schedule. You will reach the airport 2 hours prior to your flight.
