This package offers trekkers a chance to explore the picturesque landscape of the recently opened Nar and Phu Valley lying to the north of the Annapurna circuit. You will also explore the Himalayan wilderness in and around Manang.

Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu

You will be met and greeted with a traditional welcome by our representatives and be transferred to your hotel. A brief orientation along with the necessary documentation will be carried out by your guide.

Sightseeing in Kathmandu

After breakfast your tour around Kathmandu will commence where you will be accompanied by a guide of your lingual preference. The tour will include a visit to the following places:
  • Boudhhanath: A major Buddhist stupa located at the north eastern outskirts of Kathmandu.
  • Pashupatinath:The most revered temple by Hindus in Nepal, the temple carries a significance of mystical proportions and is a site to many important life events of Hindus.
  • Swayambhunath: Sitting atop ahill, it is the most prominent Buddhist pilgrimage site in Nepal and is one of many sites of Nepal included in UNESCO’s World Heritage List.
  • Kathmandu Durbar Square: Durbar Square or the Palace Square is ancient courtyard the then Malla Kings of Kathmandu Valley which is abundant is breathtaking architecture.

Drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar

You will take an early morning drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar, the district headquarter of Lamjung,which should take around 6-7 hours through some scenic route.

Besisahar-Bahundanda Trek

On this day we will trek towards Bahun Danda or the Brahman village. Initially we will reach Ngadi after 4 hours of trek and then trek for further 2 hours to reach Bahundanda.

Bahundanda-Jagat Trek

Today we will descend form Bahundanda through rice terraces to initially reach Hanigaon. Then we will climb steeply above the river bed and then again descend to reach Jagat.

Jagat-Dharapani Trek

After breakfast we make our way towards Dharapani. We will cross some interesting trails along the way which include forests, cliffs, climb to Sattale, grass river banks, and much more. The sight throughout  should keep you entertained.

Dharapani-Nar Phu Valley Trek

As we cut through a narrow field from the village, the Dudh Khola, which originates from the south face of Manaslu, enters on the opposite bank. The Marsyangdi then veers to the left, and as Annapurna II becomes visible ahead, we arrive at Bagarchhap, a Bhote village with prayer flags fluttering in the breeze. Continuing to climb through forests of pine and oak, we pass through Dhanakyu before coming to a thundering waterfall.

Pausing for breath, we can look back for views of Manaslu. When the steep incline ends we follow a path amid magnificent rhododendrons to Ratamron and then continue on a gently rising path, crossing a stream before entering a pine forest. We then cut across a loose hillside to the hamlet of Koto from where we can look straight up at nearby Annapurna. This is also where we leave the Annapurna Circuit, we cross the Marsyangdi river and enter the Nar Phu valley. From the bank of Nar Phu Khola we start climbing to our first camping site, which we reach about two hours from Koto.

Nar Phu Valley- Singhenge Dharmashala Trek

On this day after an initial up and down trail we will then ascend to Choto. Then on we will head towards Singhenge Dharmashala. Be ready to witness some big waterfalls.

Singhenge Dharmashala- Upper Chaku Village Trek

On this day we head towards the Upper Chaku Village crossing the Methang Khola and the winding MEthang pastures. After a while we will make an easy walk towards the Lower Chaku village and then ascend to Upper Chaku.

Upper Chaku-Phu Village Trek

Today we will begin our trek with an initial arduous ascent to the Kyan village. We will then descend passing through some Mani Chortens. We then ascend towards Phu village.

Rest Day at Phu Village

The day will be spent taking some much needed rest and exploring the the Phu Village.

Phu Village- Nar Camp Site Trek

On this day we head towards the Nar Campsite passing through Chaku and Phu Khola.

Nar Campsite- Kang La phedi Trek

Today we will initially make a steep clib to the Nar village where we will stopover for lunch. Then on we will make a gentle ascent through the lateral moraine of Temdenzon Khola to reach the Kang La Phedi.

Kang La Phedi-Munje Trek Via Kang La Pass

A strenuous day’s trek awaits us as we head towards Munje. Initially we will have to cross the massive Kang La Pass and the descent steeply to reach Ngawal. Then on we will continue our trek to reach the beautiful Munje.

Munje-Manang Trek

On this day we will head to the Himalayan wilderness that is Manang,a district beyond the mountains. Along the way you will be graced by magnificent sights of the Annapurna II, III, IV and many others.

Manang-Letdar Trek

On this day ,we will make our way towards the small settlement of Letdar passing though Tengi, Gunsang, Gundon river. You will be rewarded with some spell binding sights of the Annapurna and the Thorung La Pass.

Letdar-Thorung Phedi Trek

Leaving Letdar, we climb gradually to a ridge before descending to the headwaters of the Marsyangdi and crossing via a covered wooden bridge. After a short ascent up the mountain path on the right bank, we follow a narrow trail across an unstable steep slope and then descend to Thorung Phedi.

Thorung Phedi-Muktinath Trek

We start our trek today at the crack of dawn to initially cross the mighty Thorung La. The descent to Muktinath then on is equally strenuous however you will be rewarded with excellent views of Dhaulagiri along the way.

Muktinath-Jomson Trek

Today, we will descend along the Kali Gandaki valley to reach Jomsom. Along the way you will be accompanied by pleasant sights of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna.

Jomsom-Pokhara Flight

We will take an early morning flight from Jomsom to Pokhara. The remaining part of the day can be spent exploring the beautiful lake city of Pokhara.

Return to Kathmandu

You will have the option of either taking a bus or a flight to return to Kathmandu.

Free Day in Kathmandu

After such a challenging and nature deep trek, you would definitely love a day of rest, or you can use it for a day shopping around Kathmandu City. You will be driven to farewell dinner in the evening with a cultural dance.
