Muktinath means ‘Lord of Salvation.’ Muktinath is the holy places for both Buddhists and Hindus. One can see Hindu Sadhu as well as Tibetan traders there. The complex has the groove of trees, Vishnu Temple of Jiwala Mayi and Buddhist Monastery.
One can feel fully relax and peaceful thereby seeing spectacular Himalayan ranges of several mountains like Dhaulagiri, Tukuche peak, Nilgiri, and Annapurna.
Jomsom, a modern town, is the ‘Thakali Homeland.’ Thakali are originally from Tibetan, but they have their own language and customs. We fly to Jomsom from Kathmandu and begin our ride through famous trekking trail.
The trail shows us to several wonderful villages which are culturally rich.
Riding on the off-road and Jeep track from Jomsom, we can pamper ourselves in Tatopani (Hot water) on the way to Pokhara Valley on the downhill of Annapurna-Machhapucchre Range. At the end of the biking trip, we can see the magnificent sunrise from the Sarangkot Hill.

Kathmandu Airport Arrival (1345 meters).
Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu. Meet and traditional welcome by our representative & get transferred to hotel. Welcome drink followed by tour briefing. Evening is free to explore as own.
Pre-trip meeting and Kathmandu Sightseeing
We have breakfast at the hotel in the early morning around 7 am. Then, we will meet shortly for elaborating for Kathmandu sightseeing.
You will have a private vehicle and an expert guide who takes you to visit Kathmandu city. You will visit three UNESCO listed World Heritage Sites, i.e., Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, and Swayambhunath.
Our trip starts from the Boudhanath Stupa, one of the biggest Buddhist places of worship on the earth, where we watch Buddhist priests imploring in the monasteries near by the stupa.
Our next destination is Pashupatinath Temple; One of the major holy Hindu temples in Nepal, situated on the banks of the holy Bagmati River.
One can see Hindu holy men (sadhus) meditating and showering there. There is cremation area near by temples on the banks of the Bagmati.
Then, we will head towards Swayambhunath – also called “The Monkey Temple” – a Buddhist stupa roosted on a hillock on the western side. The Swayambhunath Temple is another UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites on Nepal.
You will see a panoramic view of the Kathmandu valley from here. The rest of our day in Kathmandu is free for further exploration, and you can enjoy as your own. We will stay overnight at hotel.
Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (820m)
We will pick up you at the at 6:30 am from your hotel and drop you to the bus station. The Bus to Pokhara heads at around 7:30 am, and the journey is 6 hours including lunch in transit.
Pokhara is the beautiful valley set on the banks of the Phewa Lake. It is also known for its all magnificent views of Annapurna, Machapuchare (state of fish tail) in the north – Dhaulagiri in the west, Lamjung Himal and Manaslu in the east.
It is smaller and less hustle than Kathmandu Valley, consequently giving the perfect place to relax in the evening. We will stay overnight at a hotel.
Fly to Jomsom (2,700m), amass the bikes, and ride to Kagbeni (2,900m)
Tomorrow, we will be in Jomsom (Mustang); one of the beautiful and renowned tourist destinations in Nepal.
Various flights take you to the Jomsom airport early every day before the Kali Gandaki wind gets by mid-morning.
To get used to the elevation and the climate condition, we collect the bikes when we arrive in Jomsom. Then start riding the moderately flat stream trail to Kagbeni, the border town of the recently prohibited Mustang Kingdom. We will spend our night time at a hotel.
Ride from Kagbeni to Muktinath (3,800m)
After an early morning breakfast at a hotel, we travel up the hill, gaining almost 1,000m in height, as we head towards Muktinath.
This is the most elevated point of this trip. You will see a landscape and dry-desert area there.
You may meet a modest bunch of trekkers and explorers, most of them are from India, and they are on the way to the holy Hindu temple Muktinath. You will be peaceful and relax after seeing marvelous sceneries.
Coming to the culturally and religiously site with astonishing mountain views is quite an accomplishment after spending more energy during the trip. Our overnight will be at a hotel.
Ride from Muktinath to Marpha (2,670m)
Today, we will ride towards Marpha Village; a famous tourist destination on the way to Muktinath Temple.
We will enjoy breathtaking views of the Dhaulagiri and a few other 8,000m peaks on our site we start to explore.
In transit, we pass yak (Mountain Cow) groups and experience the ancient way of living of the neighborhood.
We ride via Lupra where dark enchantment and human penances are a piece of the group ceremonies.
We will take as rest until tomorrow in Marpha – a friendly group known for its apple plantations. The flagstone-lined town of Marpha is well known for apple cultivating.
Keep in mind to try some local wine and brandy including Marphali- local wine made by Marpha’s apple. We will stay overnight at a guesthouse.
Ride from Marpha to Tatopani (1,190m)
Next day after an early morning breakfast at Marpha, we will start our journey towards Tato Pani – also called Hot Water in a local language.
Toward the end of the ride, you can pamper yourself in the natural hot spring, which is found beside than the Kali Gandaki River.
From there, you will have the time and space to release up your muscles and chill to the natural sound of the wilderness. We will stay overnight at a hotel.
Sarangkot to Pokhara (830m)
After spending one night at Tatopani, we will ride towards Sarangkot- one of the beautiful places in Pokhara from where one can see astonishing sunrise reflecting at Annapurna & other Himalayan ranges in the early morning.
On the way to Sarangkot from Tatopani, we will pass Beni following the Kali Gandaki River, before moving to the Pokhara-Baglung Highway.
We follow the highway up to Nau Danda and afterward take the dirt street to Sarangkot. The best place in Pokhara to enjoy the views of the Himalayas alongside the dawn and nightfall. Overnight at a hotel.
Sarangkot to Pokhara (830m)
Today, we ride via easy and semi-technical trail to Pokhara. Ensure you check your brakes before you begin a 90% downhill.
Pokhara is the beginning or ending point for some of Nepal’s most mainstream treks. The lakes with the high Fishtail rule the mountain ranges. Overnight at hotel.
Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu (1,345m)
Following day, we will return to Kathmandu through tourist bus. A charming walk and a very late shopping binge in Thamel and Basantapur in Kathmandu.
We host a farewell dinner in an ordinary Nepali-style restaurant with cultural shows (dancing and singing with ensembles) tonight to celebrate our hard work and accomplishment in the mountain biking trip.
You have the choice to extend your tour to continue onto Chitwan Jungle safari, boating, rafting and bungee, Kathmandu Valley shopping visit, Mountain flight, and different exercises. Overnight at a hotel.
Departure from Nepal
After Breakfast – free time till departure – Transfer to Airport for onward destination with sweet memories of Nepal. We will drop you to Kathmandu Airport 2 hours before your flight time.
